The latest update ruined this game. Cant listen to music when you play anymore. Play control is poor. Go back to the original.

This app was great but now it crashes ALL THE TIME!! The worst is when you shoot the ball and than the balls mysteriously disappear mid game. Please fix this

Dont get me wrong, I have the Bubble Shooter since Palm platform, and theres no only a single day I dont play with it. Its relaxing and get me in good mood. As I as saying the Palm version in my opinion was perfect. But time changes and we must persue the best technology. The previous version was not so great as the Palm was, but very much acceptable. I very much like listening my music while playing. Then they gave a shot of mercy to definitely kill a great application, I mean remove the possiblity to listen your playlists. I know this review wont be answered for Absolutist, which pretty much ignore its clients, but, as much as possible, I want the world to know what to expect of such pityful version of what could be the best game for iPod. If by any miracle somebody at Absolutist decide to listen and do something about it, I would be very grateful. Another minor issue, why when the balls reach the bottom of screen the score goes to zero? Sometimes I wasnt paying attention when the game finishes and I wonder how many points did I make? And even worse, when I reach certain number of points which could go to the best scores and the balls reach the bottom, I am not able to make the high scores (opposedly as Palm version, which allowed). If I can say something else, let me tell everybody, in my opinion this game is potentially good, the bad in this case is the Absolutist. I hope they come to its senses before it broke!!

Originally I had paid $10 for this game on the Palm platform in 2005- and I liked it so much I felt that it was money well spent. I was absolutely delighted when it appeared on iOS, and I happily purchased it again and once more happily popped bubbles to my hearts content. In the update commented on by others here, they changed the basic physics of the game, and became more concerned with taking more control of your game experience. Specific complaints: 1. Game physics are significantly changed. While internally consistent, the feel is much more "mechanical", and unresponsive. 2. Can no longer listen to your own music while playing 3. Option and Start Game buttons have been moved. The placement of these buttons in the screen shots are different than in the actual game! (While this is not a huge deal, it is yet one more minor interruption in the game experience. It also highlights the fact that this company isnt really interested in being honest with potential purchasers regarding their product. ) This really needs to be downgraded back to the old version.

Bubble Shooter is my favorite game to kill some time and relax. Ive got Premium Edition for PC since 2009, and now that I got iPod touch it was one of the games I downloaded first. Its even more fun on touch screen.

This used to be my favorite game until a horrible update ruined it several months ago. Despite numerous complaints and bad reviews they refuse to fix it.

Cant win a single game with this current version. I used to dominate the extremely hard levels of this game now I wont even attempt them cuz I cant even beat the novice level. You guys made this game impossible to beat

The last two updates were steps in the wrong direction. How about giving us a "Downdate" back to the old one that didnt crash and played smoothly. Have you ever heard of, "if it aint broke, dont fix it?". My question is what happened to absolutist? Wow, I thought they were a cool company with people who knew how to program great games. This game keeps getting worse with each new revision. Whats wrong with these people? Bubble shooter used to be the coolest game around. Now its worse than the copycat apps that tried to be like the "old bubble shooter". I have bubble shooter for my PC and my palm and it was the first app I bought when I got my iPhone. It played pretty good and then i fell for the update and I couldnt believe how badly they could screw it up. Since then it keeps going backwards with each new update. So now, its a horrible game that I dont even play. Whats wrong with these people?

This used to be my FAVORITE time waster. I loved the free version so much so that I paid for the full version. I was very happy until that update everyone talks about over the summer. MY biggest complaint: I cant always finish a game in one sitting... But if I have 5 minutes between meetings, I might play for a few. And I play in sniper mode. BUT... if you "pause" the game for an extended amount of time and come back to it, it switches you, MID-GAME, to collector! What a sucky score! Oh, and itll randomly switch you back to beginner even if you were playing novice.

This latest update makes the game unplayable. I too would like the game as it was two versions ago. Zero stars.

This update has fixed several bugs... The sound seems to be working.. You would think that with all the bad reviews however the developers would "go back" to the physics of the first version. It seems they completely redesign the physics with each update. Dont know why they would do this but what do I know.. So with this update it seems they tried to approximate the physics of the old "good" version but didnt quite make it. Still worth upgrading since it is an improvement, just dont get your hopes up too much.

Totally agree with the other reviews. Each time they "fix" it, the app gets worse. Now it runs slower and the whole screen seems to shake. Id like to find a way to downdate to two versions ago.

Was my favorite game. Then the update that ruined it over the summer ruined it for me. But the newest version is much, much better. Back to being addicted to it!

I love this game but it has an irritating bug that makes me regret paying for it. Every other week or so, the game goes to the screen where you put your name with the high score, even if you didnt choose to go there, and you cant get out of that screen to play your game unless you delete it, and re- add it from the App Store. So frustrating! You guys need to fix that bug. No matter what you do, you cant get out of that screen. Ive tried everything, and only deleting the App from your phone and re-adding it will work to where you can play it again, for a while, until it freezes up on the screen to put your name.

I read many negative reviews of the recent updates (since May), so I still havent upgraded. Love the good old version, and still play it every day. If the developers want more users back, they should revert back to the old version from before the changes.

I payed for NOTHING!!! The payed app is the same as the free except its not prompting me to buy Also the stupid app wont let me listen to music while I play! Are you kidding me!?!?! Thats the number one thing you should do! We dont have multitasking phones so the apps can turn off the music on us! MUST FIX!! Now that Im done being upset... I actually like the game its self, so far no bugs, no freezing, no problems, just playing!!! Which I like. And Ive had the game for 2 weeks, so it is subject to change I guess. Please fix the music problem!!!!!!!!

I thought Id come back and give it another shot, considering this was my favorite pass time game, to see if they corrected the aweful update from last summer. Im Back!! Its once again a game I can enjoy playing!!
